Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bullard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Palestine with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.
Bullard never let Palestine on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 27-25.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bullard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hudsen Walker, who had 12 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Garrick, who had six digs and 15 assists.
Troup's defeat dropped their record down to 20-18. As for Bullard, they now have a winning record of 20-19.
