Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDade). They put the hurt on the Dime Box Longhorns with a sharp 66-44 win on Friday. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 35-34 victory the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Despite the defeat, Dime Box saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ta'Niyah Auston posted 26 points. That was a full 59.1% of Dime Box's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Chansidy Straughter, who had four points.

McDade's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Dime Box, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDade will head out to square off against Rosebud-Lott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dime Box, they are taking a road trip to take on Fayetteville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
