The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves were the 71-62 winner over the Liberty Christian Patriots when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Tekoa-Rosalia took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tekoa-Rosalia has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Tekoa-Rosalia still got an impressive performance from Isaac Bone, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. The game was Bone's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Thomas Place was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Tekoa-Rosalia's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-3. As for Liberty Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tekoa-Rosalia is on the road again on Saturday and play against Oakesdale at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th. Liberty Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tri-Cities Prep at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Tri-Cities Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Liberty Christian in Washington (Tri-Cities Prep is ranked 37th, while Liberty Christian is ranked 208th).
