Manvel won the last time they faced Alvin and things went their way on Saturday too. The Manvel Mavericks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Alvin Yellowjackets 72-31. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Manvel pushed their record up to 26-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Alvin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-23 record this season.
