Sidney Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Alek Doty
Alek Doty's big game helped extend Sidney's winning streak to six on Friday. Doty rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 121 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Sidney's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Doty and Sidney will square off against Chase County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
