Last Monday, Hillside took a serious blow against Plainfield, falling 47-14. While losing is never fun, Hillside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while Plainfield is ranked 65th).
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-24, which was the final score in People's Prep's tilt against American History on Monday. People's Prep has not had much luck with American History recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Hillside has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for People's Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
