Monahans is 8-2 against Seminole since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Loboes will take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m. The last four games Monahans has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Monahans took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Greenwood by a score of 4-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Meanwhile, Seminole entered their contest against Andrews on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-3.

Zoey Teichroeb was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off 12 hits. Teichroeb was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Teichroeb wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nola Seay, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Monahans is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Seminole, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 20-7.

Monahans took their win against Seminole in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Loboes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
