It was a proper cat-fight when Tipton faced off against Linn on Friday. The Cardinals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 87-44. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.
Tipton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Schlotzhauer, who went 8-for-11 on her way to 24 points in addition to six assists and five boards. That's the most assists Schlotzhauer has posted since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Carvajal, who shot 60% from the field en route to 22 points.

Linn's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carley Brandt, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points and eight rebounds. The contest was Brandt's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Nicole Grellner, who had five points.
Tipton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Linn, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
