The Providence Christian Academy LIONS stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against Battle Ground Academy as Providence Christian Academy made off with a 67-41 victory. The victory was nothing new for Providence Christian Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.
Battle Ground Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Mclay, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ann Gentry Lambert, who scored eight points.
Providence Christian Academy pushed their record up to 17-4 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Battle Ground Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Providence Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Battle Ground Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Middle Tennessee Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wildcats in Tennessee (the Cougars are ranked 121st, while the Wildcats are ranked 270th).
