Spearfish took a serious blow against Brookings on Friday, falling 0-51. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Spearfish of the 0-24 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
Spearfish are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3. The win bumped Brookings' record up to 2-1.
Spearfish are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Belle Fourche next week at 6:00 PM. Spearfish come in off of 3 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse. As for Brookings, they will face off against Watertown.
