The Browne Bruins's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 92-37 victory over Metro Tech. With Browne ahead 52-17 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
It was another big night for Adam Chaffin, who scored 26 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesus Solorio-Vasquez, who scored 4 points along with 10 steals and 9 assists.
Metro Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xavier Montes, who scored 2 points.
Browne has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Metro Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Browne will take on Dobson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dobson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Browne likes a good challenge. Metro Tech won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Agua Fria at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. Agua Fria is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
