Even though the Wolcott Eagles scored an imposing 56 points on Wednesday, the Kennedy Eagles still came out on top. Kennedy took their matchup against Wolcott 66-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kennedy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Terrance Morrison was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Morrison, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Wolcott, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
Kennedy will take on Woodland Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Woodland Regional is ranked 147th, while Kennedy is ranked 136th). As for Wolcott, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ansonia at 7:00 p.m. Ansonia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
