After losing to the Siouxland Christian Eagles the last time they met, the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Tri County Northeast really took it to Siouxland Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-31 victory at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-18.
Hunter Heikes had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Jackson Belt was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 8 rebounds.
Tri County Northeast's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Siouxland Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Tri County Northeast won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Tri County Northeast likes a good challenge.
