North Sanpete has gone a perfect 10-0 against Delta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The North Sanpete Hawks will look to defend their home field against the Delta Rabbits at 3:30 p.m. North Sanpete is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

North Sanpete was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Canyon View on Tuesday. North Sanpete blew past Canyon View 14-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their two-run performance the match before.

Shea Rawlinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Rawlinson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rylee Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alivia Madsen, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.

North Sanpete was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-8 to Ogden, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Elee Anderson was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Sanpete, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

North Sanpete took their win against Delta when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0. Does North Sanpete have another victory up their sleeve, or will Delta turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
