This season hasn't been kind to the Carroll Academy Rebels, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a serious blow against Tri-County Academy on Tuesday, falling 76-48.
Leading Tri-County Academy to victory were Dean Gibson and Cooper Johnson. Gibson scored 15 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds, while Johnson scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Tacker, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Carroll Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Tri-County Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Central Holmes Christian the next time they take the court. Tri-County Academy will host Central Holmes Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Carroll Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th.
