On Thursday, Catoctin made easy work of Loch Raven and carried off a 33-12 victory.
When it comes to explaining why Loch Raven lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keyon Fauntleroy. Despite the final result, he rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 149 yards and a touchdown. Fauntleroy's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.
Catoctin's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Loch Raven, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Catoctin will square off against Patterson Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Patterson Mill is ranked 98th, while Catoctin is ranked 117th). Loch Raven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
