Muncie Central Gets a Boost from Echols in 20-14 Loss
Dae'Cion Echols put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Echols and Muncie Central will challenge Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Giants, probably because Echols had a solid game then too: he rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Keyen Crowder and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Keyen Crowder was instrumental in extending Lafayette Jefferson's winning streak to seven on Friday. Crowder did his part (and then some), throwing for 213 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. Those 33 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Crowder will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Harrison on Friday. The contest will pit Crowder up against the Raiders' star signal caller Lannon Nicoloff. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
