DCP Alum Rock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isidro Cigarroa Fores, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Tony Clarida, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
DCP Alum Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Scotts Valley, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
DCP Alum Rock will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cindy Avitia at 7:00 p.m. As for Scotts Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Monte Vista Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monte Vista Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
