The New Manna Christian Wind have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Rockwell Christian School 50-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for New Manna Christian.
Rockwell Christian School lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kylie Smith, who scored 14 points. The matchup was Smith's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Jordan, who scored eight points.
New Manna Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rockwell Christian School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Manna Christian will take on Victory Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 549th, while New Manna Christian is ranked 240th). As for Rockwell Christian School, they will be playing at home against Shining Light Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Shining Light Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 back in December of 2023.
