South Shelby's Brett Threlkeld rumbled for the longest rushing play in Clarence Cannon this season in his game against Clark County last week. Threlkeld scampered for 84 yards on the play and finished with 97 on the day as his team topped the Indians.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Palmyra beat Mark Twain 56-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
South Shelby's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Threlkeld threw for 144 and 2 touchdowns and Austin Durbin had 120 yards receiving. On the ground Trace Windsor contributed 184 yards. Adam Ellyson helped South Shelby's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 51 yards.

Brock Butler provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Palmyra bested the Tigers. He completed 2 passes for 81 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 163 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Macon's Craig Smith and Brendan Watts have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Smith has thrown for 1,376 yards this season, while Watts has 33 catches for 763 yards. The Cardinals' Windsor leads the league in rushing yards with 873.
The Tigers are in second place, while Centralia is in third place.
Kevin Miles' team took down Mark Twain 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Butler ran for 163 yards in the win.
