There's no place like home for Hammond Morton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Lake Central Indians 63-43 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Governors have posted since February 8, 2024.

Hammond Morton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LeBron Hill, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Hill has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Holland Harris, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards.

Lake Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zachary Greene, who posted 16 points. Noah Enyeart was another key player, putting up five points and seven rebounds.

Hammond Morton's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Lake Central, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
