The Saddleback Roadrunners will head out on the road to square off against the Magnolia Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Saddleback's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
On Friday, Saddleback really took it to Century for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-6 victory. The Roadrunners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 35 points or more this season.

Saddleback can attribute much of their success to Andre Scott, who threw for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and Fabian Bravo, who rushed for 72 yards and one score on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards Bravo has posted since back in November of 2024.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Saddleback, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Chris Romero, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Saddleback didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andrik Valenzuela and Andrew Alvarez. Valenzuela is also on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Magnolia came up short against Godinez Fundamental last Friday and fell 20-8. The Sentinels gained 229 more yards on the day, but it was the Grizzlies that made the best use of them.
Saddleback will have to contain Cristian Martinez as he made an impact in Magnolia's last game. He rushed for 138 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Another player making a difference was Nicko Mendoza, who threw for 178 yards on 12 of 20 attempts.
Saddleback is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Magnolia, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-6.
Everything went Saddleback's way against Magnolia in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Saddleback made off with a 23-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roadrunners since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
