Mayde Creek lost against Katy Taylor back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Isabella Gomez paced Mayde Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Gomez got some help from Autumn Wimberely and her 17 assists. Gomez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mayde Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Katy Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Mayde Creek has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Cy-Fair on the 22nd. As for Katy Taylor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Georgetown on the 21st.
