The Parrish Community Bulls will head out to square off against the Sarasota Sailors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Parrish Community 2.2, Sarasota 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Sarasota will be up against a hot Parrish Community team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Parrish Community came out on top against Crystal River by a score of 4-1 on Saturday.

Emmaline Van Beck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
At the plate, Cassidy Ott was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Kyndal France was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Sarasota got themselves on the board against Yulee on Saturday, but Yulee never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Sailors, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Not much got past Gemma Mulhollen, who gave up just three hits to keep Yulee off the board. Mulhollen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sheridan Swain, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ashlan Guengerich, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Sarasota kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.
Sarasota has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. Parrish Community's record now sits at 12-2.
Sarasota's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Parrish Community has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Sarasota, though, as they've been averaging only 3.4 strikeouts. Will Parrish Community keep running through batters, or will Sarasota buck the trend?
Parrish Community couldn't quite finish off Sarasota in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can Parrish Community avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
