The Ocean View Seahawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 62-54 to Godinez Fundamental. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ocean View of the 57-46 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 5th.
Despite the loss, Ocean View still got an impressive performance from Brayden Ackerman, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Girotti, who scored 11 points.
Ocean View has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Godinez Fundamental, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Segerstrom and Ocean View are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Godinez Fundamental, they will be playing at home against Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Westminster's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
