Pine Ridge came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Winnebago, but Adarius Flemister wouldn't allow it. The Indians claimed a resounding 56-6 win over the Thorpes for which the team can thank Flemister, who rushed for 126 yards and three TDs. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Winnebago's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jared Doxey II and Ashton Lapointe, who racked up six sacks between them. Melvin Hulit got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Winnebago has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 55.5 points this season. As for Pine Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winnebago will take on Lower Brule at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Ridge, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Little Wound on Thursday.
