The Grainger Grizzlies can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Volunteer with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. The victory was just what Grainger needed coming off of a 34-13 loss in their prior game.
Volunteer's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Keelin Releford, who rushed for 178 yards and a touchdown, and Owen Fleenor who rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Grainger's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Volunteer, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10.
Grainger does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Volunteer also has no future games currently scheduled.
