Fishburne Military will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Grace Christian at 4:00 PM. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Fishburne Military now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
After soaring to 36 points the game before, Fishburne Military faltered in their matchup last Friday. They came up short against Rappahannock County last Friday, falling 6-14.
Meanwhile, Grace Christian simply couldn't be stopped, as they easily beat Hancock 62-20. Grace Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Grace Christian's win lifted them to 3-2 while Fishburne Military's loss dropped them down to 2-3. We'll find out if Grace Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if Fishburne Military can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Grace Christian's step.
