Rafe Newton Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Ririe's Rafe Newton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Newton rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.
Ririe's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Newton and Ririe will welcome Salmon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kolter Lewis Delivers Electric Effort Vs North Fremont

While North Fremont might've come up empty on Friday, Andrew Martin wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Martin was still balling out as he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
North Fremont's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. Martin will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against West Jefferson on Friday.

While West Jefferson might've come up empty on Friday, Justus Burtenshaw wasn't going down without a fight. Firth had no answer to Burtenshaw as he rushed for 32 yards.
