Addenbrooke Classical Academy really took it to Liberty Tree Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-8 victory on the road. With Addenbrooke Classical Academy ahead 37-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Reena Lanzen, who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The match was Lanzen's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Trujillo, who scored 8 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Addenbrooke Classical Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will face off against Rocky Mountain Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rocky Mountain Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Tuesday. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Monument Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
