Soccer Recap: Unity Christian Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Unity Christian was not quite Quad Cities Christian's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Unity Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Quad Cities Christian earlier this season, when they won 2-2.

Unity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Quad Cities Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Coming up, Unity Christian will square off against Faith Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quad Cities Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Moline Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quad Cities Christian is facing East Moline Christian at the right time seeing as East Moline Christian is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
