Lafayette's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 12.0 runs this season. As for East Jessamine, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
