Last Tuesday, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot lost to Brunswick Academy on the road by a decisive 54-36 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot in their matchups with Brunswick Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Charlie Potter put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Hickey, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kenston Forest scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Amelia Academy at home to the tune of 58-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Kenston Forest has posted yet this season.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Kenston Forest, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot couldn't quite finish off Kenston Forest when the teams last played on January 4th and fell 28-26. Can Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
