On Friday Millersburg take on Susquenita at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Millersburg have to be aching after a bruising 34-63 defeat to Tri-Valley last Friday. A silver lining for Millersburg was the play of junior Aiden Harman, who passed for 214 yards and 3 touchdowns. Near the top of the highlight reel was Harman's 65-yard TD bomb to Kyle Casner in the third quarter.
Meanwhile, we expected Susquenita to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Halifax, and they did. Susquenita ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-31 walloping at Halifax's hands. Susquenita's loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it three losses in a row.
It was close but no cigar for Millersburg as they fell 0-2 to Susquenita the last time the two teams met. Can Millersburg avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
