North Cobb Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They snuck past Fannin County with a 33-27 win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Columbia put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 53-26 victory over Athens Academy. That's two games straight that Columbia has won by exactly 27 points.
Columbia had a senior duo take command as Lamaze Williams rushed for 300 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry and Jadan Baugh rushed for 295 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
North Cobb Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-8 Washington and 3-7 Business Engineering Science Tech (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35.6% over those games). As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
