Chrisman sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-28 win over Urbana University on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Chrisman has posted yet this season.
Chrisman found their leader in underclassman Taylor Jones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Jones is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Radke, who scored 11 points.
Chrisman's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Urbana University, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Chrisman the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Milford at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Urbana University, they will head out on the road to challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
