The Polytechnic Parrots fell victim to the Everman Bulldogs's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Polytechnic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Polytechnic has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-2 record this season. As for Everman, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-1.
Polytechnic will be playing at home against Arlington Heights at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington Heights is coming into the game with three straight victories on the road, meaning Polytechnic will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Everman, they will square off against South Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Everman's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
