It was a good run, but the Timberline Wolves unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meridian. Timberline has struggled against Meridian recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Timberline's loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-1. As for Meridian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Timberline will head out on the road to face off against Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meridian, they will be playing at home against Boise at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boise will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Meridian is ranked third).
