The Forest Park Foresters and the Calvert Cavaliers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Forest Park Foresters had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 17-14. Forest Park's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Domaine Wallace Jr. was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 135 yards.
Forest Park's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Calvert, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 12-1 record.
Forest Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Calvert will square off against Dunbar at TBD on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Dunbar: 7.1, Calvert: 9.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
