The Alva Goldbugs can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 55-17 victory over Newkirk. Winning may never get old, but Alva sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaycee Kelln, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lakin Gaddy, who scored 15 points.
Alva pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Newkirk, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.
Alva didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-31 victory vs. Hooker on the 12th. Newkirk has also already played their next game, a 39-29 loss against Pawnee on the 9th.
