The Immaculate Mustangs will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Northwest Catholic Lions at 1:45 p.m.
Last Thursday, Immaculate came up short against Bethel and fell 53-42.
Despite their loss, Immaculate saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Callie Miller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Miller hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Kristina Asmani, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Northwest Catholic waltzed into their game on Friday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They strolled past Glastonbury with points to spare, taking the game 69-54.
Immaculate dropped their record down to 10-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Northwest Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
