The Mooresville Pioneers stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Terre Haute South Vigo at home to the tune of 67-16. Winning may never get old, but Mooresville sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Mooresville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kalyn Bunch led the charge by scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Emma Mcginley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Mooresville pushed their record up to 18-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-23.
Mooresville will head out on the road to challenge Whiteland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whiteland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Mooresville is ranked 24th). Terre Haute South Vigo's road trip will continue as they head out to face Terre Haute North Vigo at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
