4A Region III District 22 recap Sept. 26, 2012
Fort Bend Marshall moved up to 153 from 254 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region III District 22. The Buffalos were able to make the jump by beating Worthing 68-0.
Stratford was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league.
Tomball's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Drew Reynolds has thrown for 260 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Xavier Powell has four catches for 77 yards. Powell leads the league in rushing with 395 yards.
A big matchup in 4A Region III District 22 this week will be when Spring Woods takes on the Spartans. The Tigers are in third place, while Stratford is in second place.
Fort Bend Marshall took down the Colts 68-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
