Prince Edward County made easy work of Cumberland last week and carried off a 50-16 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-8.
Meanwhile, Bluestone narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Randolph-Henry 16-14. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
