The Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cincinnati Christian. While losing is never fun, Miami Valley Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 548th, while Cincinnati Christian is ranked 210th).
Cincinnati Christian found their leader in underclassman Addyson Raby, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Davis, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Miami Valley Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cincinnati Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Valley Christian Academy will take on New Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. New Richmond is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Cincinnati Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome North College Hill at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. North College Hill comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
