Severn School waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Admirals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Colby Benz looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Fletcher Warner, who scored three runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-4. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lawrence Jacobs, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
