San Luis lost to Holtville 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Kofa made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,552 from 13,373. The advance stemmed from a 40-13 victory over Antelope last week.
Yuma's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Riley McAdam threw for 91 yards and Kade Kottenbrook had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Arturo Vargas chipped in 176 yards. Johnny Arellano helped Yuma's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
The Criminals' dynamic duo of McAdam and Kottenbrook proved tough for Southwest to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Arellano helped Yuma's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
AUSTIN STEFICK was a passing and rushing force as Lake Havasu lost to River Valley. STEFICK's favorite target this week was GARRETT LINNENKAMP, who caught 3 passes for 71 yards.
Leading II Section IV in both passing and receiving yards, Cibola's Lucky Arvizo and Michael DeCorse-Hall have proven to be a lethal combination. Arvizo has thrown for 1,017 yards this season, while DeCorse-Hall, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 14 catches for 344 yards. The Knights' STEFICK leads the league in rushing yards with 507.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Lake Havasu takes on the Kings. At the moment, Karl Thompson's team is in first, while Kofa is in third.
John Blabe's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on the Rams.
