Assumption had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Auburndale Eagles. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Assumption's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-4. As for Auburndale, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3.
