P.K. Yonge extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 16-8. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Interlachen Rams, sneaking past 6-4. Six seems to be a good number for the Blue Wave as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Colt Kramer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Gerardo Barrios was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nico Wheeler, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
As for Interlachen, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since March 14, 2025.
On Interlachen's side, Aden Tyre and Jarrett Cribbs did some serious damage despite the final result: Tyre went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Cribbs went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI.
