The Galloway Scots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Mount Pisgah Christian, falling 73-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Galloway in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost five in a row.
Galloway's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Levin, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Levin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Patrick, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Galloway has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15.
Galloway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mount Pisgah Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
